MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSNEXT (Mothers of Elementary Kids) meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the Chapel.  For more information contact Karen Thoma: Childcare provided.

October 4:  Together Wednesdays  Better Together

Together We Serve!

4:30 – 8:00 pm

The church that serves together can impact their community with the Gospel, Families that serve together can impact their school, neighbors, and other family members with the Gospel as well!  Join us for an evening of learning what it means to serve together as a church and in your homes!  Multiple opportunities to serve and ideas for your family to serve your community will be available on this evening.  Dinner information TBA and the cost will be $5 per person.  For more information about Together Wednesdays, please visit

October 6 &7:  Super Start

A Pre-Teen Event for 4th & 5th Grade Students

WHERE Harvester Christian Church (We will meet at the main entrance for each session)

WHEN:  Friday, October 6 (6:30 – 10: PM) & Saturday October 7 (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

THEME:  POWER UP!  We’ll explore Luke 11:28 and plug into the world of video games!  SuperStart’s mission is the help preteens understand that through God’s Word they receive the power they need to navigate and serve in His Kingdom.

WHO CAN ATTEND Current 4th and 5th Grade students (Yes, you may bring a friend)

COST: $65 per person ($30 for adults attending) Covers cost of conference, Saturday lunch, and Brunswick Zone)

October 8:  3rd Grade Bible Dedication Event

Getting Into God’s Word!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? - 3rd Grade students and their parents/guardians

WHERE IS IT The Chapel 

FOOD?  Yes!  FBCH will provide fried chicken, rolls and drinks. We ask everyone attending to bring a side dish/salad and a dessert and indicate w/your RSVP.

WHAT IS A BIBLE DEDICATION EVENTThis event is designed to give our Harvester Kidz parents tools to teach and model to their children how to study God’s Word. After lunch, there will be a brief teaching time for everyone.

We will ask each parent to purchase a Bible or bring their existing Bible to this event.  Parents will be asked to write a note of dedication in their child’s Bible, and we will close with a time of blessing and dedication for each child.
